Sled Dog Doppelbock poured a modest tan head. The nose gives off lots of malt.  The first sip is extremely sweet with a lot of malt on the front palate.  The beer is sweet throughout and it is almost impossible to taste the 8.5% ABV. Sled Dog's sweet body tastes almost like a candyish Barleywine style ale.  Overall, not a bad beer but I probably could only have one.

The ultimate resource for beer drinkers!
