2007 version tasted 9/14/08
Three Philosophers poured a dark, reddish brown color with a small tan head. The
nose had hints of sweet fruit, and a rich malt. The body has a taste of cherries, a little bit of sweetness and a rich,
malty body. The malts dull on the finish and there is a slight dryness. The alchohol begins to show a bit
more as the beer warms. This is a great beer, rich and flavorful yet smooth enough to sip and savor. Pair this
with a chocolate desert or even a nice cigar. One of my favorite beers in the entire state.
