Man Winter poured a clear, light brown color with a finger width, off white head. The aroma was hoppy with light malt
underneath and hints of raisins. The body is thinner, with malt up front, and a faint sweetness. A crisp,
hoppy bitterness comes in towards the middle, leading to a lingering hop finish that leaves a very pleasant dryness on the
palate. Overall this is a very good sessional winter beer. It is easy drinking and well balanced. Winter
seasonals are not normally hoppy and there is nothing overly bold or daring but I like this offering from Southern Tier.
