choklat poured a dark brown color with a finger width, dark tan color. The nose is dominated by chocolate, tootsie roll like, with hints of dark malts. The body is smooth, with low carbonation. The body is rich, sweet, and extremely chocolaty, almost fudge like. There is a light bitternss with the body and stronger towards the finish. The finish is subdued, lighly bitter, a trace of hops, and some noticeable alcohol. Overall, this is a well made yet very, very rich beer. It is very big up front, has a very heavy body, and is fairly well balanced. This is sipping beer and is not made to have much more than 6 ounces or so. "Chocolate in a bottle".

The ultimate resource for beer drinkers!
