Southampton 10
th Anniversary
poured a reddish, brown color with a pen width off-white head.
The aroma was rich malt, some fruit notes,
and a little bit of alcohol.
The body had a very deep, very rich malty taste with some malt sweetness.
The alcohol is again noticeable but not overwhelming. The malts dry out on the finish resulting in a very brief
but dry finish and more hints of alcohol. This is a very nice beer and would pair well with any gamey meat or rich
chocolate desert. The body is very rich, possibly even a tad heavy so its unlikely you will be drinking more
then one or two but its still a very very good beer.
