Rye poured a deep, mahogony color with a thumb width, off white head. The
aroma is rye forward with some malt underneath and spices. The body has a creamy mouthfeel in the middle with sharp
hop edges. Like the nose there is some malt there but the rye shows through a little more. The rye completely
takes over on a very dry finish. Overall, this is a very good, very hopped up rye beer. It is dry throughout,
complemented with the rye but balanced beautifully by the creamy texture in the middle of the body. Here is another
great beer from Sixpoint.
