Vertical Jewbelation poured a dark black color, with a pen width, tan head. The nose is dominated
by a strong, rye whiskey aroma. The body has a soft, creamy mouthfeel with plenty of malt and some sweetness up front.
The booze really starts to show through strongly, on the finish. Overall, this is an interesting beer and your reaction
will depend on your personal preference. The first palate and middle are amazing, with the nose and the finish
being all whiskey. This bottle sat for 14 months, and could easily handle another few years in the cellar. Vertical
Jewbelation blurs the line between beer and whiskey.
