The Messiah poured a dark brown, blackish
color with a thumb width off white head. The aroma was light, malty, with a faint hint of toastyness.
The body had a slightly creamy mouthfeel, with some dark malts. There are faint notes of figs, chocolate,
and toffee. The finish is absent, with really nothing to it. All in all Messiah
Bold is a big disappointment. The beer is smooth, but very thin and not a whole to it in terms of flavor.
Leave this beer for Sundays when you can focus on football and not the beer. Shmaltz makes some
excellent beer but this is a disappointment.
