Helles poured a crystal clear, yellow color with a finger width white head.  The aroma is bready with some light malt.  The body has a thicker mouthfeel, yet is light on the palate.  There is a light sweetness up front with some malt and corn.  While the finish is short, it has enough hops that are able to cut through the bready flavor and give off a dry taste.  The beer left trace amount of lace on the glass. Overall, this is a tasty take on the Helles style.  The body is smooth and the flavor is there.  This is a great beer to try during the hot, summer months.
