The beer pored a dark redidish
brown color with a small off white bubbly head. The nose nice with strong malt and hints of chocolate. The first
sip is all malts and the body is much more of the same. There are some more hints of chocolate but what makes this beer
interesting is that the taste here is of dry malts rather then the sweet roasted malts that usually accompany a dark beer
like this. The beer leaves a ton of hanging lace which is further evidence of the massive amount of malt in here.
The finish is shot but nice, dry, with a hint of hops. This beer has a bunch of good parts and would go great
with beer but I am not sure I would want it without some sort of food.
