Moose Ale poured a clear, amber color with a thumb width, off white head. The aroma was malty with some hops.
The body is smoolth, and malty with a light sweetness and some hops up front. The hops start to take over
in the middle palate before leading to a dry, hoppy finish (cascade) that leaves a lingering dryness. Overall, this is a solid,
full bodied pale ale. The beer is balanced with plenty flavor and the finish is great. While not quite as good
as Saranac's original pale ale, this is a solid addition to their lineup.
