Saranac
Belgian White poured a clear dark yellow-orangish color with a medium sized bubbly white head. The nose has plenty
of wheat, with malts, and an orangey citrus and lemon which all combines to give off a very enjoyable aroma. The body
has a malt overtone with plenty of wheat, as well as that citrus flavor and some spices (corriander?). The
body is kind of thick on the palate, which is unusual for this style, but short and crisp at the same time. The
finis is short with some citrus but leaves some lingering wheat and carbonation on the tongue. The beer leaves
a small coat of hanging lace. This seems to be a different interpretation of this style but I like it nontheless.
