Adoration poured a light brown color with a thumb width, light tan
head. The aroma was malty with spices. The body is fairly thick, yet smooth, with lots of malt and some light
alcohol. The spices come in towards the end and lead into the finish where they become very pronounced.
The malt dries out a little and the alcohol warms the palate. Overall, this is a very good beer from Ommegang.
Winter beers have a tendancy to be heavy, but Adoration is easy drinking and not overly heavy despite its deep and complex
body.
