ImPaled Ale poured a clear amber color with bubbly white head that was a little less then one finger width.
The beer had great head retention as it lasted just about the entire pint. The nose had some nice malt but was predominatly
big hops with a hint of pine. The beer started out with some sweet malt up front but soon turned into the IPA that it
is with a hop dominated palate. The finish is very nice, dry and hoppy, and sits on the tongue for a long time.
The beer left a nice coat of hanging lace on the glass. I really liked this beer as there is enough malt to balance
out the big hops and the body is deep, with flavor the whole way through. The long finish is nice and drawn out, another
good beer from Middle Ages.
