The Duke poured a black color with a small tan head.  The nose had hints of coffee with roasted malts.  The body continued with the malt theme, dry roasted malts that were not overwhelming.  the beer had a nice smooth, mouthfeel that ended with a short crispness.  The finish was brief, yet nice, and left me wishing it lasted just a little longer.  The Duke left a nice rime of hanging lace on the glass. The body was light which was nice and could allow for having more then one.  This mix of styles (scotch ale and porter) was interesting and I think bodes well for this beer.  I like it and definatly reccomend that you try it.

The ultimate resource for beer drinkers!
