Southern Tier's coffee stout poured a dark
brown, blackish color with a finger width brown head. The aroma is a little muddled, with only really roasted malts
and coffee beans coming through. The body is creamy, with a ton of rich malt and big chocolate flavor up front.
The coffee starts to show through in the middle and really dominates the finish. There is a noticeable alcohol bite
on the end that is slightly unpleasant. Overall, this is a decent beer. The flavor up front is amazing but
the nose isn't great and the harsh finish detracts from the beer a little bit.
