Chocolate Porter poured a dark brown/blackish color with a two fingered width, tan
head. The nose has plenty of roasted malt, aromas of cocoa and faint coffee notes. The body is smooth and creamy up front,
thick, yet light on the palate and rounded out and refined. There is a faint sweetness. The finish is dry and roasty. Overall,
a very nice porter. It is more porter than a chocolate beer. The nose is phenominal, with a little more cocoa in the body.
This is a February seasonal that was drank in October. The body makes it great. If I had to nitpik, the finish is just a little
to thin, but the flavor is good.
