EBC's Nut Brown Ale poured a dark red, light brown color with a finger width tan head. The
aroma is deep, with light roasted notes and a huge nuttiness. The body has a light sweetness up front with a large nuttiness
up front and chocolate underneath before thinning out a little in the middle. The finish is nutty with a nice
dryness on the palate. Overall this is a very nice beer, possibly Ellicottville's best. It is light
enough to have a few, but more then enough flavor to be pretty tasty. The nutty flavor is great, very consistent,
and the chocolate is nice.
