Cave Mountain Red Ale poured a clear,
crimson color with a thumb width, frothy, off white head. The aroma was clean, hoppy with a malt base. The body
is smooth, malty with some bready sweetness blending with fresh,pungent hops. The finish is short, lacking a bit, with
a little dryness. Overall, this is a decent, full bodied ale. It could use just a little more on the
finish, but still a nice full bodied beer.
