poured a fairly clear, dark red light brownish color with a thumb width, off white head. The aroma was malty with some
spices. The body had a light sweetness up front with a malty backbone. There are some spices in the middle with
a decent amount of hops at the backend. The finish is very tame, with a very light dryness to it. Overall, this
is a solid, yet very interesting beer that I would love to try again. It is one of the more balanced
marzens I have had, avoiding the overly sweet flavors that others have and the spices are the difference here. This
is well made beer that I would like to try again.
