Brown's Oatmeal Stout poured a dark black color with a pen-wdith tan head. The nose had tons of
roasted malt, some coffe, and a sweet chocolate note that smelled like a tootsie roll. The body had more roasted malts
with a sweetness up front that gave way to a dry maltyness with a velvety mouthfeel. This finish was really nice, medium
length and dry. This is a really well balanced stout that can be enjoyed as a dark session beer. Another
very solid beer from Browns.
