Brooklyner-Schneider Hopfen-Weisse poured a very clear, light amber color with a finger width white head.
The aroma was exceptional, with plenty of wheat, bananas, citrus, and cloves. The body is on the
sweet side, with citrus, and very, very thick malty body. There is wheat in there to but is overshadowed
by the malt. The carbonation is noticeable but not over done. The finish is yeasty,
and the hops give off a nice dryness. The beer left some lacing on the glass. This “weiss-bock”
is a really good beer. The aroma was great; the body is smooth and consistent with tons of flavor and the
finish is decent. This particular bottle sat in my cellar for about six months and I feel like the aging
may have quieted the hops a bit. The high ABV was barely noticeable.
