Brooklyn’s Oktoberfest poured a dark red color with a frothy,
off white, two fingered width head. The aroma was mostly malt with a tiny hint of spice. The body
had toasted malt, a light hint of hops underneath, and was
smooth. It is a lighter body but has nice flavor. The
finish is subdued but lasts for awhile. It had a pleasant taste and did well to cleanse the palate.
The beer left a tiny amount of lace on the glass. This would make for a very nice, fall session beer that should be enjoyed while leaves change
colors.
