Local 1 uses a blend of barley malt and hops from Germany, aromatic raw sugar from Mauritius and Belgian yeast. The
beer pours a coppor color with a big white head. The nose is malty with quite a bit of yeast. The body
is really heavy and has plenty of malts and some underlying hops. The finish is not extremely big and is a little dry.
There was plenty of hanging lace on the glass which is a result of the abundance of malts in this beer. This is another
very good beer from Brooklyn. Local 1 is a rich, complex beer that is quite tasty.
