Bocks are stronger versions of lagers. They rage in color from
amber to dark brown and are predominatly malty. Bocks are aged longer than traditional lagers to help round out the
robust beer. Bocks usually have a goat on the label of the beer.
The Maibock, or Hellesbock style
of beer are lighter in color and body but tend to have the same alcohol content as bocks. These styles are traditionally
served during the spring season.
