Blue Point's Pumpkin
poured a clear, amber color with a finger width, off white head. The aroma is filled with both pumpkin and lots
of spices. The body is smooth, with a light carbonation on the front that picks up on the backend. There is a
nice malt backbone and the pumpkin is there. There is a decent amount of spices here and they run the course of
the body. The finish doesn't really bring anything new but does the job with a short with a yeasty dryness.
Overall, a solid beer from Blue Point. They do a nice job of offering up both spices and pumpkin flavor as too many pumpkin
beers sacrifice one for the other. One of the better representatives of this style in New York.
