poured a clear, brown color with a finger width, off white head. The aroma was malty with some hops. The first
sip is malty before a blast of bitter hops. The finish is hoppy with a lingering dryness. The body is full-bodied,
deep, and smooth. There is a decent amount of hanging lace left on the glass. Overall, this is a solid, winter
ale. This is a big beer that is well-balanced and quite tasty.
