Toasted Lager won the Gold Medal in the American-Style
Amber Lager category at the 2006 World Beer Cup. The beer poured a clear amber color with a big frothy off white head.
The body is smooth with some malts and the finish is short and unspectacular. The beer left spotted lace on the
glass. This beer is a perfect example of the age old motto "The sum is greater then all of the parts."
There are no overlly special parts to this beer but I really found myself really enjoying it. The retail
price on this is a tad high or else it would become a staple in my rotation. Give credit to Blue Point for truly
being innovative.
