Blue Point Summer Ale poured a golden
yellow color with a finger width, frothy white head. The aroma is simple, clean with a light malt base.
The body is smooth, bigger and rounded out upfront before thinning out a bit. There is a pale malt
base with lower carbonation some light citrus and a little sweetness. The finish lacks a bit, and has some
very faint hops and a light dryness. There was some spotted lace left hanging on the glass.
Overall this is a decent, easy drinking ale. It is clearly meant as a sessional for the warmer months,
but lacks any wow factor.
