Hoptical Illusion poured a very clear, amber color with a finger width white head.
The aroma had some noticeable malt but was predominatly hoppy. The body is fairly sweet up front and then more malt.
There is a big burst of very dry hops that lead into a clean, dry finish. Overall, this is a pretty well balanced IPA.
It is a little more mild on the hops than other American IPA's but is pretty refreshing and a solid beer.
