| Backyard IPA poured a clear, copper color with a thumb width, off white head. The aroma is malty with a little
yeast, some orange notes and faint hops. The body is smooth and malty, with a light sweetness up front and a bready
characteristic to it. The hops start to come in a little on the back end. The beer finishes with a lingering dryness.
There is some hanging lace left on the glass. Overall, this is an average IPA. The hops came in almost a little
to late giving the beer more of a pale ale taste. The malt was a little to forward, creating an off balance to the beer.
